Re: Jade Regent
(Okay. Also I noticed there's a dice roll thing at the bottom of where I type in my post. Do you want me to use that, and if so, how do I use it?)

(Yes, if that works then by all means. If there's a way to add modifiers to it then make sure to add those in. Otherwise, just remind me what her Fortitude save is)
Re: Jade Regent
(I don't know how to make it work so I'll just tell you xP)
Back in the Fortuneteller's Wagon, Turwaithiel takes the phial and administers it to herself as instructed.
Fortitude save:
Roll(1d20)+3:
12,+3
Total:15

Re: Jade Regent
The draft is thick and tastes bitter, like a desert going into her throat. But as she takes it, she feels a tingling sensation, and feels lighter like something had been purged from her body. However, her head starts to spin, and the world seems to darken on her...
(The potion worked, but I need another Fort save to determine other effects)

Her head stops spinning after a minute or so, and otherwise her body feels fine.
"That's....impressive." Her sister says, standing behind her "You just drank poison, and you're not even retching."

Re: Jade Regent
"I've had enough bad luck today," Turwaithiel said, turning to her sister. "It's a small mercy that this," she shook the phial, "didn't add to that."

Re: Jade Regent
Shalelu gave a light shrug "Wolfsbane isn't too deadly, so I wasn't worried. It was necessary to break that curse, otherwise you may have become a violent beast when the full moon came." She gave a light smirk "How would that have been for bad luck?"
Re: Jade Regent
"As much as I love Thef..." Turwaithiel looked down at her wolf, who hadn't left her side since leaving the werewolves behind, and smiled fondly. "I couldn't imagine becoming one of...them." She shuddered. "I do feel really bad for them. To be...cursed in that way. If I had become one of them..." She halted suddenly as a realization struck her-the realization that she probably wouldn't have been able to control herself which would have only led to disaster.
"That would have been a bad day for all of us," she said quietly.

Re: Jade Regent
Shalelu nodded somberly, her arms crossed "I hope the day never comes that I would have to fight my own sister. I'd likely kill you, if that happened." She clapped Turwaithiel on the shoulder and gave a one-sided grin "Come on, a bit of training will get your mind off of that."

Bruka sat on a rock on the side of the road and used Prestidigitation to amuse himself with minor acts of magic. He was half way through painting "Hail Bruka!" on the rock when the first wagon of a caravan came into sight.

Re: Jade Regent
Jen'Ai was the first to notice the stranger in the road, having scouted ahead of the caravan. Seeing the magic he was using, he was hesitant tk approach him hesd on, so he dipped back through the treeline, signalling Shalelu in Sign.

Re: Jade Regent
Shalelu has managed to sneak up on the human, and he doesn't notice until he has a silver arrow pointed in between his eyes, while a large black wolf bares its teeth at him.
"State your business." She said, her voice stern yet flat "Or otherwise just step aside."

Re: Jade Regent
Shalelu narrowed her eyes, at him, grimacing "You're saying you have business with Sandru?" She asked, lowering he bow. Still keeping it drawn, she nudged her head toward the caravan "Get going, but I have my eyes on you." The wolf barked loudly "And so does Jakardros."
Re: Jade Regent
"Sandru? I have no clue who that is." Bruka said. "I was told by an old dryad that if I waited on this rock something interesting would happen. I would say that people with silver arrows counts as interesting. And now that said arrows are not pointed at my face we might be able to have a civilized conversation. My name is Bruka. Cloud Bruka. And you are...?"

Re: Jade Regent
Shalelu suddenly got the feeling she had been tricked, and she didn't like that at all. Still, there was little to be done about it now. The elf woman brushed her silver bangs out of her eyes and fixed them on the human "I am Shalelu Andosana," she replied "I am a ranger in the employ of Sandru Vhiski's caravan." She brought his attention back to her bow "I'm in charge of security." As she spoke, Jen'Ai came out from his hiding spot, his claws extended. "The catfolk there will escort you to my employer, and he'll decide how to deal with you." And with that she turned away, disappearing back into the woods.
Re: Jade Regent
"I love meeting new people" Bruka said as he leapt to his feet and grabbed a small burlap sack. Bruka followed the fuzzy catfolk expectantly.

Re: Jade Regent
Jen'Ai was the type to try and claw those who called him 'fuzzy', so it was best that those thoughts were left unspoken. "We still have no idea who you are, so we will likely leave you here in these woods. We couldn't possibly take any more people in this caravan so you'll have to fend for yourself."
................
Except Bruka doesn't speak Catfolk, so really all he hears is a bunch of gibberish and angry mumbling.

Re: Jade Regent
Meanwhile, Turwaithiel was riding in one of the caravans with Kenai. She signed to her, "I wanted to thank you for earlier. For healing my arm. I wanted to thank you sooner, but I'm afraid I was too upset by what had happened that my mind wasn't on others so much at the time. I apologize for my rudeness."
She was so focused on getting the signs right, that even when Thef stood to look out the window, she didn't bother to check and see what had caught his attention.
(There. I hope that gives you something to work with.)

Re: Jade Regent
Bruka took mental note of his surroundings. He noted the number of individuals and the quality, quantity, and condition of all the wagons he could see. He also counted the number of pointy objects pointed at him. All the while lamenting not taking that crash course in catfolk.

Re: Jade Regent
Kanai simply smiled and signed back "Think nothing of it. I'm sure I will be healing you and the others a lot more before this quest is done." She flicked her tail, noting where Thef was looking. She saw her brother walking by then, escorting a stranger in a red coat.
Meanwhile, the rest of the caravan was stirring in response to the stranger, and soon enough the owner was striding out confidently to meet the stranger. Sandru stroked his beard while he appraised Bruka "So, what brings you this far out into Varisian wilderness?" He asked "Seems mighty suspicious that you'd be sitting in the road waiting for us."

Re: Jade Regent
Bruka tipped his hat in respect of the beard. "I floated out here on a gust of wind a couple of weeks ago, and I have been drifting around ever since." (It is important to note that Bruka neither looks nor smells like he has been in the forest for a couple of weeks. However a Sense Motive will reveal that Bruka isn't lying.)
"And like I told Whiskers and The Sneak, I was sitting on that rock because a dryad said something fun would happen if I waited there long enough." Bruka pauses contemplatively. "Although now that I think about it, she may have been trying to get rid of me. Did, a good job of it too. Had me on that rock for three straight days."

Re: Jade Regent
After the whole ordeal with the werewolves, Jimmy decided to take a rest and spend a few hours reading a book. A book he found randomly among the caravan. It wasn't any thing fancy, just a few stories to help occupy his mind as the day went on. He did want to go and check on his friends soon though. Especially Turwaithiel. That wound looked bad, and he was thankful Kenai was on their team. But for now, he had stories to read.
